For maximum safety, we advise that every specimen we remove is sent for histology to check for malignancy.

Fees for 'lumps and bumps' vary from around £50 for a small skin tag to £300 for excision of larger moles, cysts or fatty lumps.

Histological testing costs between £80 and £150, depending on the complexity of the case.
